About Us

The Indian Nurses Association of South Florida has been playing a pivotal role in the field of healthcare for the past 28 years, since its inception. It comprises of nurses of Indian origin who work in hospitals and institutions in South Florida. The INASF has made its presence felt all over Florida through the organization of many community- oriented charity programs including health fairs, blood drives and cultural evenings. The INASF recognizes and awards nurses in South Florida who have exhibited outstanding performance and excellence. Elaborate community service oriented programs and cultural events have been planned for a duration of two years. Your support will serve as an acknowledgement of our efforts and will be a source of inspiration to all our members and supporters.

At INDIAN NURSES ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH FLORIDA, we prioritize compassionate care for every patient. Our dedicated nurses are trained to provide the highest level of support and comfort.

Dear Members and Friends,

It is with great pride and gratitude that I address you as the President of the Indian Nurses Association of South Florida (INASF). For over 28 years, our association has been a cornerstone of support, camaraderie, and professional development for the Indian nursing community in South Florida. We are more than just a professional organization; we are a family that strives to uplift each other while ensuring that the nursing profession continues to thrive with excellence and compassion.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is clear: to provide a platform that empowers and advocates for Indian nurses and healthcare professionals while promoting education, community involvement, and the advancement of nursing practice. Through our ongoing initiatives, events, and programs, INASF has played a pivotal role in connecting nurses, providing professional development, and enhancing cultural awareness within the healthcare industry.


Whether you are a seasoned professional or new to the nursing field, becoming a part of INASF means gaining a strong network of like-minded individuals, all working together to make a positive difference. We welcome you to join us as we continue our journey of growth, service, and success.

  • Scholarship: NAINA grants a $300.00 scholarship to an eligible undergraduate or associate degree nursing student of Indian heritage from United States, and $500 for research.
